  9. * * Some suggestion for VIDEO SPEED! * *

  11. 1) If you have enough RAM, uncompress TOMCAT there! You will not have
  12.    a problem as far a Access Time!
  13.  
  14. 2) I recommend you OPTIMIZE your HardDrive then uncompress TOMCAT!
  15.    this will help Access Time GREATLY! but WARNING! to optimize your
  16.    HardDrive make sure you know what your doing, and make sure you have
  17.    backup's! this can be a deadly action!! (I KNOW!)

  19. 3) There is a Program Called HYPERCACHE which is a intelligent disk
  20.    cache program and will greatly speed up access time on TomCat!
  21.    This program is available from Silicon Praire Software.

  23. 4) Between Video Clips, you will hear a Music Soundtrack, ME I don't here
  24.    it because of my HD Access Time OR RAM loads. So.. If you find you hear
  25.    2 or 3 sec of the Music SoundTrack, thats WAY too MUCH LOAD TIME! Optimize
  26.    your HD or Copy TOMCAT to RAM....

  29.                           ---HOW DO I PLAY TOMCAT?---

  31. OK.. 1st screen you will come to, you will have to select a WayPoint. This
  32. is a way of telling your TOMCAT where to fly to, there are 5 WAYPOINTS
  33. (1) is AIR2AIR  (2) AIR2GROUND  (3) RECONN  (4) RESCUE  (5) LANDING RE-ARM

  36. After selecting your waypoint you will need to tell your TOMCAT which
  37. Mig or GroundTerget to engage! QUICKLY select and Lock onto your Mig or
  38. GroundTarget!! If you stall on your action you will soon find a blood
  39. thirsty pilot on your SIX or a SAM!!! Be very careful when you select your
  40. MIG or GroundTarget! make sure your Targets in the middle of your
  41. AIMING RETICLE! selecting sloppy can get you KILLED!

  43. Once you have selected your TARGET, quickly LOCK onto him with your AIMING
  44. RETICLE, which will turn RED when you have a LOCK and "FIRE!" If you take
  45. to long for a LOCK a Mig can get behind you or a SAM and LOCK onto
  46. your TOMCAT and then your looking at trouble! Remember, you only have so
  47. much TIME & WEAPONS!

  49. WARNING SCREEN!
  50. ---------------
  51. Ok listen up! The only time you will EVER get a WARNING is if there is a MIG
  52. or SAM on your SIX or a NICE DEADLY MISSILE RIGHT ON YOUR TAIL!!! There are
  53. only TWO way's to get you out of this!!!!  1st. If you have enough time,
  54. QUICKLY move your AIMING RETICLE to the FLARE and press FIRE! or Select
  55. ANOTHER TARGET! By selecting another TARGET you have a 50/50 chance of
  56. out flying It!! This can sometimes be your ONLY option, because you
  57. only have so many FLARES per mission!

  59. RE-ARMING YOUR TOMCAT!

  61. After you complete a mission you need to LAND back on your AIRCRAFT
  62. CARRIER! to RE-ARM your TOMCAT! Just select WAYPOINT (5)...

  65. RECON MISSION
  66. --------------
  67. Reconn is needed for the Goverment to plan a ground invasion, You MUST
  68. clear out ANY MIGS or GROUND TARGETS,  Then when near the BOLFICH FACTORY
  69. your TOMCAT will then take RECON PHOTOS. (GOOD LUCK!)

  72. RESCUE MISSION
  73. --------------
  74. Your Mission is to locate down crew members of a C-747 which was shot
  75. down by GROUND FIRE! Try and clear out all AIR-Targets and Ground-Targets
  76. so the Rescue Helicopter can get to the crew member. (GOOD LUCK!)
